While I photograph most of the day in a photo-journalistic way, I will gently guide you through the portrait hour, giving you as much or as little direction as you need. I find inspiration in your personality so that I can guide you to express your real emotions. When you look back on the images, you will see your real smile and the true joy you were feeling on your wedding day, not a stiff pose.

HOW IT WORKS
After Your Initial Inquiry
I will share more details with you through email and set up a phone call so that I can fully understand your photography needs. After we chat, I will prepare a proposal tailored for you.
Booking &
Consulting
You will reserve your date by signing the contract and paying the retainer fee. Once fully booked, I will help you throughout the process in any way you need. I can consult on the timeline, best lighting, engagement session locations, and more.
Shooting, Preview,
and Delivery
I will be there for all of the big and small moments of your wedding day, capturing everything with a spirit that seeks to honestly and lovingly preserve your memories. You will receive a beautiful and robust preview gallery within one week of the wedding day and the full gallery within 90 days.
Heirloom Albums and Prints
After your full gallery is delivered, we will work together to create your heirloom photo album. I can guide you through the process of ordering prints, canvases, and more via your online gallery's print and product store.

The best inspiration comes from life and your moments are paramount.
We are excited to work to make your images as original as you are. While I do work with you to create a formal family portrait shot list, I find the best documentation to occur when I am tuning into the day and photographing things as they unfold, creatively and with heart, always.
We love it when you bring us your ideas, then trust in the reason you hired us.
And if you give us freedom to create, we'll give you much more than the shot list.

One of my ultimate goals as your wedding photographer is that you can truly enjoy your day without it feeling like an all-day photoshoot. I want to capture you fully immersed in the moments of joy and beauty so that when you look back on your day you feel as though you savored it fully.
Trust me – ceremony musicians and a reception band are so worth it!
I am a huge advocate for live musicians on the wedding day. There is nothing quite like instrumental music playing as your guests arrive and live reception entertainment!

Q. Where are you based and are you willing to travel?
My home base is in Western North Carolina and I happily travel for work.
Q. Do you have a second shooter?
Yes, every large wedding that I photograph will have a second photographer present documenting the day from another angle.
Q. What is your turnaround time for
photo delivery?
The week following your wedding or elopement, you will receive a preview gallery of beautiful images. Within 90 days you will receive the full gallery of perfectly curated images that tell the full story of your wedding day.
Q. Do you pose your clients?
I give as much direction as my clients need. For most of the wedding day, I am documenting in a photo-journalistic way but during the portrait time I definitely give direction.
Q. How long have you been a photographer?
I first starting taking photos at age twelve and began shooting professionally at age twenty-five. Today, at age thirty-seven, I am more passionate than ever about photography.
Q. How will we receive our images?
You will receive your preview images and the full gallery via an online gallery delivery software. Your gallery link will be online indefinitely.
